Single Cherry Blossom of Obara

One of the largest trees in the prefecture blooms beautifully
On the opposite bank of the river flowing parallel to Prefectural Route 66, a Yamazakura estimated to be about 250 years old is located on the outer slope of the guardrail of the old road near the Shin-yama Post Office. It is said to be one of the ten largest trees in Okayama Prefecture. Designated as a natural monument of the town in June 1973.
