Itoshima City is widely known as the place where the country of Ito-koku mentioned in the historical Chinese text 'Records of the Wei Dynasty' existed. Many valuable cultural properties have been excavated, and the luxurious artifacts from the three royal tombs of Ito-koku from the Yayoi period (Mikumo South Alley Ruins, Ihara Yari-mizo Ruins, Hirabaru No. 1 Tomb) convey a glimpse of its past prosperity. This exhibition will publicly display artifacts from notable figures' tombs near the Hirabaru Ruins, Mikumo South Alley Ruins, and Ihara Yari-mizo Ruins, which are typically not open to the public.
