The 19th Nishinoko Yoshi Akari Exhibition

The ethereal beauty that blends with nature
One of the Eight Scenic Views of Lake Biwa is the "Azuchi-Hachiman Water Town." In the water town area, there is a large growth of "Yoshi" (reeds) that purify water, soil, and air. This event is held with the aim of familiarizing people with Yoshi and rediscovering its value. Numerous lights made by hand using Yoshi as material are exhibited in the venue, creating a fantastic world that unfolds before your eyes.
