Atsuta Festival
The largest festival at Atsuta Shrine where the imperial envoy visits
The most important and solemn festival at Atsuta Shrine, where the imperial envoy visits. Martial arts and performances are offered in the shrine grounds. In the evening, straw lanterns are lit at each gate, and around 1,000 fireworks are launched from Jingu Park. It is a festival widely loved by citizens as a herald of summer.
