"Enjoying the Rainy Season" project. Approximately 70 varieties of iris flowers, including Edo-type species in purple, blue, white, pink, and reddish-purple, as well as rare Edo antique flowers, will bloom from late May to mid-June, shifting from early to late varieties. Early June (mid-season type flowering period) is particularly recommended. During the period, various events such as umbrella rentals and exhibitions will be held. The Japanese umbrella exhibition from 5/24 to 6/8 represents the drying of umbrellas spread out against the backdrop of iris flowers in a process known as 'Mushi-boshi.' Canceled in case of rain or strong winds. ■ Notes During the Golden Week period, traditional dyed carp streamers from Gujo Hachiman will be displayed. A festival with floats will be held on June 8.
