Furusato Festival & Gion Festival
A festival packed with summer fun!
The pre-festival "Koumi Genki DE Night" includes a big rock-paper-scissors tournament and a treasure hunt game, among other activities. The following main festival will see part of the shopping street turn into a pedestrian paradise, featuring traditional Bon Odori dances, folk song performances, and approximately 40 food stalls and kitchen cars. The grand finale will be a fireworks display held at the lower reach of the Barunbashi bridge. Let's enjoy the two days to the fullest!
