[Beach Swimming] Mikou no Hama Beach

Mikou no Hama was named after Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken visited this beach in the 6th year of the Meiji era (1873) and observed fishermen using a net. The Mikou no Hama coastline has beautiful scenery, offering views of the Izu Peninsula and the Miura and Boso Peninsulas, making it enjoyable for beach strolls. Experience summer at this spectacular beach, which represents Odawara. (Facilities include a beach house, public toilets, rest areas, and showers)

The beach house is open from 10:00 to 19:30. If the weather or wave conditions are deemed dangerous, a red flag will be displayed, and swimming will be prohibited. In the event of a tsunami warning or advisory, red and white tsunami flags will be displayed. Please exit the water and move away from the beach promptly to ensure your safety.
