Daifukudaji Kuwana Seiten Festival (July)

Enhance your fortune at the spiritually significant Kuwana Seiten shrine
Daifukudaji is well-loved by the local community as the local Seiten shrine. The Seiten is worshipped as Ganesha in India, the "god of wealth" who brings benefits in this world. Rubbing the "Fukubukuro" against the three-faced Daikokuten enshrined in the Seiten Hall brings about blessings for physical well-being. The grounds feature stalls offering Mitarashi dango, dried goods, and Koyamaki. A limited edition golden Goshuin is also available. For one day only, the Kannon statue for matchmaking will be specially unveiled. ■Notes A smaller scale event is also held on the 16th of every month, but there are no stalls or distribution of the golden Goshuin.
