Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra Youth Masterpiece Concert

A collection of gems that can be enjoyed by young and old alike
A classical concert featuring young performers who will shape the future of Shizuoka alongside the Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra. The conductor is the promising young talent, Kakushi Yoneda. On piano, we welcome Eiko Funamoto, a winner of the 'Shizuoka Talents' concerto award, and on euphonium, Taiyo Ito, who won the top prize at the Shizuoka Prefectural Student Music Competition. Young performers will each play one piece, with a selection of masterpieces such as 'The Beautiful Dancer', 'Masquerade Ball', and 'The Nutcracker', featuring narration to ensure even beginners can enjoy it. Students can attend for just 500 yen. ■ Notes Groups of three or more from elementary, junior high, or high schools in central Shizuoka Prefecture will be invited by lottery, with 100 spots available. *Guests under school age are not permitted.
