Takashi Yanase, famous for Anpanman, was a manga artist, picture book author, and poet who published many works. This exhibition introduces Yanase's life, which greatly influenced the creation of Anpanman. Additionally, textbooks and related materials featuring Yanase and Anpanman will be on display. Due to the connection from the former Kanazu Town (now Awara City) being a sister city with Kamishi in Kochi Prefecture, where Yanase spent his time, original signed works and illustrations gifted to elementary schools by Yanase will also be exhibited.
