Osaka NOH Festival in Tanimachi

Showcasing the charm of Noh from multiple angles with Noh and tea ceremony experiences
In a special space of a nationally registered tangible cultural property Noh theatre, a performance of the highlight version of the Noh play 'Tsuchigumo' will be held with bilingual MC and commentary, along with subtitles. Additionally, through experiences with 'Noh masks', 'Noh costumes', and 'instruments', participants will deepen their understanding of Noh, while digital tools such as apps and 3D Noh masks will also be utilized in both English and Japanese to showcase the charm of Noh from multiple angles. A tea ceremony experience will also be conducted in the tea room on the second floor, conveying the spirit of hospitality unique to Japanese culture.
