Funada has consistently focused on the excessive love and attachment that can exist between mothers and daughters, producing works based on this theme. This exhibition showcases large-scale works measuring 1.6m made of felt, as well as portrait photographs featuring stuffed animals such as baby bottles, knitted bear hats, and children's shoes. It reflects Funada's perspective on the growth process of daughters who waver between budding independence and their relationship with their mothers, which changes over time.
