47th Minamitane Town Rocket Festival

The 'Minamitane Town Rocket Festival' is held every summer in the town closest to space, Minamitane Town. During the daytime events, local preschool and kindergarten children, a Mikoshi parade from children's associations in various districts, floats pulled by young people, and traditional dances by various organizations are held. In the evening, there will be presentations by cultural organizations in the town and a stage show featuring guest singers. The festival concludes with a fireworks display of over 10,000 fireworks! Laser shows and popular songs combine with nostalgic tunes, creating a stunning spectacle that beautifully illuminates the summer night sky.\n\n■ Notes\nOn the day of the event, congestion is expected in the parking lot and around the venue, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare.
