Did you know that "Hiroshige is not just one person; in fact, there are five"? The master of landscape painting, Utagawa Hiroshige, who produced major hits such as 'The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō.' After the death of the first Hiroshige, the name was passed down to his top disciples, Shigenobu (the second), and Shigemasa (the third), and continued through a connection to Kiichirō Kikuchi (the fourth), and his second son Tora-zo (the fifth).
