Ishigami-san Spring Festival
Ishigami-san grants one wish for women
At the approach to Shinmei Shrine, there is a small shrine known as Ishigami-san that is cherished by locals. The deity is said to be a goddess, and it has been passed down that if women make a wish, at least one of them will be granted. Even today, many people come to pray here. On May 7th each year, in hopes of a bountiful catch and the fulfillment of great wishes, men prepare dishes to entertain women.
