Awano Hayashiyatai
Offering traditional music at the evening festival
Every year on the first Saturday of October, traditional music is offered at the Shimmeisha Shrine's evening festival. The music, featuring flute, drums, and shamisen, includes 13 representative songs such as "Noe no Yama", "Sakura", and "Gion Bayashi", performed alternately while traveling back and forth along National Route 151 and the old road for about 1 km. At the end of the festival, fireworks are launched.
