Summer Workshop: Colorful Woodcarving Art

A woodcarving experience course guided by the Japan Art Academy member, Ms. Yumi Senkuni. You might think that woodcarving sounds difficult, but it’s a fun process where you treat a flat board as a small canvas, carve your favorite picture (or a provided sample), and add color. The finished piece can be taken home that day and displayed immediately. Ms. Senkuni runs various classes centered around Omachi City in Nagano Prefecture and has extensive teaching experience. How about trying an art experience in a corner of the museum? ■Notes Reservation required by phone at least 2 days in advance (first-come, first-served)
