Fukuoka Prefecture Wartime Materials Exhibition "Former Imperial Army Tachiarai Airfield Wartime Panel Exhibition"

Once, this place was the center of a major military city centered around the former Imperial Army's Tachiarai Airfield, which boasted the best in the East, and it developed while playing a significant historical role. However, in March 1945, it suffered devastating damage due to a massive air raid by the U.S. military, and many precious lives, including civilians, were lost. It is also a place where numerous special attack team members were sent off as a relay base. This year marks 80 years since the end of the war, and through this panel exhibition, let us take this opportunity to think again about war and peace.
