The 44th Toyota Okinawa Friendship Eisa Festival

Performing a magnificent Eisa matched with sanshin and song, the Eisa team proudly beats the drums, declaring who is number one. Events include the "Dojune," where Eisa teams progress through the alleys of the village, and the "Orase," where Eisa youth meet unexpectedly in the alley. There are also "Hatagashira," where large decorated flags are raised, and Miyako Island's "Kuychaa." Finally, at the end, everyone, including the audience, participates in the entire venue's hand dancing "Kachashi," creating an exciting atmosphere for both Okinawa enthusiasts and first-time visitors to Okinawa.
