For the first time in 10 years, we are exhibiting 2 nationally designated important cultural properties entrusted to the Takaoka City Museum of Art. The works of Hasegawa Nobuharu (Tōhaku) from Daibōji and the folding screen "The City and Beyond" from Shōkōji are treasures that Takaoka City takes pride in, passed down from the Muromachi period through the Edo period to the present day. Furthermore, 2025 marks the "100th year of Shōwa." In the second part of the exhibition, we will display collections of paintings, sculptures, and crafts produced from the early Shōwa era to the 1950s.
