Ice Wind Cave and Mysterious Village Exploration Team
A tour of the natural refrigerator, the wind cave, and the legendary village
"Ice" is a secluded village located on the left bank of the Chikuma River. The Ice Wind Cave blows out winds close to zero degrees even in summer. Additionally, there are many mysterious places and legends that have existed for a long time. This is a guided tour by the local preservation group (a unique bunch) through such places. There is also an experience of feeding real silkworms with mulberry leaves in an old farmhouse where sericulture was once practiced. You can also enjoy local dishes made from crops harvested by local people, such as pickles and savory pastries. It's also enjoyable for children, so let's join as a family. ■ Note The event will proceed in light rain. Please participate in comfortable clothing.
