The fireworks festival with the most prominent history in the prefecture
A fireworks festival boasting the largest number of events in Akita Prefecture, continuing since the Taisho era. Magnificent star mines and other large fireworks are launched into the mid-autumn night sky, attracting many fireworks fans from both inside and outside the prefecture.
