Iyohara Ruins is one of the largest complex ruins in Western Japan, featuring reconstructed dwellings from the Jomon to Kamakura periods, and there are many habitats for various insects in the surrounding area. Let's explore insects with the whole family together with experts in the great nature of Nishiharme! On the day of the event, gather at Iyohara Ruins Park. After receiving explanations from expert teachers about where insects live and how to catch them, we will start insect collecting and see what kind of insects are present. After that, we will categorize and display the caught insects and creatures by type, and provide explanations about their characteristics.
