Daihukudenji Kuwana Shoten Festival (April)

Increase your fortune at the highly efficacious Kuwana Shoten
Daihukudenji is beloved in the region as the Shoten of Kuwana. The Shoten is worshiped as the "God of Wealth" who brings prosperity in this world, represented as Ganesha in India. Rubbing the "Fukubukuro" (lucky bag) against the three-faced Daikokuten enshrined in the Shoten hall brings good health. The temple grounds feature stalls selling Mitarashi dango, dried foods, and Koya sakaki. There is also a limited edition gold Goshuin available. For one day only, the matchmaking Kan'on will be specially opened to the public. ■ Note A smaller event is held on the 16th of every month, but there are no stalls or issuance of the gold Goshuin.
