National Treasure Usuki Stone Buddhas Fire Festival

It is said that this festival is a combination of crop prayer, the memorial service for stone Buddhas, and pest chasing events. Around 1,000 torches are lit around the group of stone Buddhas, illuminating and revealing the fantastic scene of Usuki Stone Buddhas and its surroundings. Admission fee: Adults (high school students and above) 550 yen, Children (elementary and junior high school students) 270 yen. * Usuki citizens can enter for free (proof required). Free entry after 5 PM on the day of the Fire Festival.
