Let's Go See the Railway Maintenance Site! 'Omiya Factory Tour'

This is a related project of the special exhibition 'Famous Places Omiya - A Town of Railways and Parks' being held at the Saitama Museum of History and Folklore from July 12 (Saturday) to August 31 (Sunday), Year 7 of Reiwa. Participants will observe the Omiya Factory (currently the East Japan Railway Company Omiya Rolling Stock Center), which contributed to Omiya's development as a 'town of railways' along with the Omiya Station. The target audience is 3rd grade elementary school students and above, with a capacity of 20 people. Pre-registration is required, and if there are many applicants, a lottery will be held. Please check the museum's website for details. ■ Notes Participation using a wheelchair is not allowed due to many steps inside the factory.
