Yanagidani Kannon Chita Betsuin Annual Festival (July)

Wish upon the highly miraculous Yanagidani Kannon
Kyoto, the famous Yanagidani Kannon, Yōgandera. A monthly event, the annual festival held at Shōmyō-ji, which is a Chita Betsuin. On that day, names of individuals who have applied for prayers are read aloud during a memorial service so that their wishes may be fulfilled. Participants in the service receive a Zukō talisman. This is a scented talisman that can be exchanged for a new one every month. After the service, there will be a simple tea gathering. After the memorial service, along with the usual goshuin, there is also a whimsical goshuin that the chief priest may write at random for those who wish.
