90th Anniversary Exhibition of Heihachi Hashimoto

Heihachi Hashimoto (1897-1935), who emerged like a comet in the modern wood carving world and passed away at the young age of 39 (using Japanese age count), was born in what is now Ise City. He was active in the Japan Art Institute exhibitions. Known for spending much of his life in his hometown, he deepened his unique philosophy inspired by the nature of his hometown and philosophies from around the world. This exhibition delves into his creative world through representative works and materials.

About 15 minutes from the 'Tsu' IC on the Ise Expressway, turn left at the toll gate, there are signs for the museum.
