The 'Shibata Iris Festival' is held in early summer when the irises are in full bloom. Walking along the sunny path in the back of the park by the Masugata, a vibrant iris garden appears before your eyes. You can enjoy viewing the various types of irises from a distance, or you can closely compare the differences up close. Enjoy the irises at a leisurely pace.
