[Cherry Blossom Viewing] Ueno Park

Enjoy both cherry blossoms and the view

Ueno Park

Late Mar~Early Apr

Ueno Park covers an area of 5,186 square meters and is home to numerous cherry and azalea trees, with the Hochiryuzan Museiji temple located on the mountaintop. The park is named after the wife of its founder, Toyomatsu Norikawa, hence it is called Ueno Park. From the mountaintop, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of the mouth of the Arida River, the initial island of Ura (Chino Island, Oki Island), and across the Kii Channel, offering a view of the mountains of Shikoku. The park is bustling with a large number of cherry blossom viewers during the spring cherry blossom season.
