Famous ukiyo-e artist Munakata Shiko and contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara, as well as pioneers of modern printmaking like Ima Junzo and Sekino Junichiro, and the creator of Ultraman, Narita Toru, all possess strong and unique personalities cultivated in Aomori. This exhibition presents a collection of masterpieces from representative Aomori artists all at once. Enjoy the sharp perspectives and overwhelming individuality created from the rich artistic culture of this snow-covered region.
