An art exhibition journeying through Asia across time and space
A special exhibition introducing artworks from various regions of Asia from the collection and loans of the Honma Museum of Art. Centered around Buddhist art that uniquely developed as Buddhism originating in India spread across vast regions of Asia, the exhibition showcases a variety of crafts and calligraphy created by local people who celebrated life and enhanced their living through coexistence with nature. Enjoy a journey through Asia with artworks transcending time and space, ranging from about 5000 years to 100 years ago from Pakistan, India, Tibet, Vietnam, Thailand, China, South Korea, and Japan. ■Note Gallery talk by the director: July 27 (Sunday) & August 24 (Sunday) from 11:00 AM
