The 40th Tobeyaki Festival

"Tobeyaki Festival" where about 100,000 pieces from Tobeyaki kilns gather in one place. Everyday tableware and decorative vases are sold at favorable prices, attracting many visitors from both inside and outside the prefecture every year in search of bargains. At Venue 1, the Tobemachi Ceramic Road Yutori Park, there will be a large sale of Tobeyaki, a gathering of local characters, a local product sale, and painting experience sessions. At Venue 2, the Tobeyaki Traditional Industry Hall and Tobemachi Chamber of Commerce, there will be a new Tobeyaki exhibition, a local product sale, and a stamp rally in the birthplace of Tobeyaki. ■Notes For inquiries during the festival period, please contact 089-907-5711 (venue).

Note

Tobemachi Ceramic Road Yutori Park is open on the 19th (Sat) from 9 AM to 8 PM / on the 20th (Sun) from 9 AM to 5 PM. The Tobeyaki Traditional Industry Hall and Tobemachi Chamber of Commerce are open both days from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Use the Tobemachi Ceramic Road Yutori Park, Tobemachi Hall, and behind the Tobeyaki Traditional Industry Hall. There will be no operation of the "free shuttle bus" connecting Venue 1 and Venue 2.

Access

About 10 minutes towards Kochi from the "Matsuyama" IC on the Matsuyama Expressway.

Access (Public)

From Matsuyama Station, take the Iyotetsu Bus to "Tobe Dantaikuchi" or "Tobe Oiwabashi" and get off at "Tobemachi Hall West", about a 15-minute walk.
