Uzumibi Association - Traditional Song and Koto: Reviving the Salon Culture of the Edo Period

A concert in salon style to reminisce about the Edo period
During the Edo period, in Kyoto, Osaka, and Edo, cultural salons known as "ren" were places where free interactions transcending class barriers took place through music, dance, and literature. In Oita, we will deliver the elegant sounds of less frequently performed masterpieces, accompanied by the shamisen, koto, shakuhachi, and kokyu, reminiscent of that time. Reception starts on April 1 (Tuesday) from 10:00 at the Noh Theatre box office or by phone at 097-551-5511. Capacity is 50 people. No entry for preschool children.
