This unique festival, known as 'the extraordinary festival of the world,' is derived from the legend of Emperor Chuuai. The highlight of the Suho Garden Festival is the men proudly carrying banners over 20 meters high. Each year, many people gather for this magnificent event representing the castle town of Chofu. It is also designated as an intangible folk cultural asset of Yamaguchi Prefecture.
