The azaleas at Gohommatsu Park in Mihonoseki Town come into full bloom from late April to early May each year. There are approximately 5,000 of them, and they are affectionately called "One Thousand at a Glance Azaleas." Blooming in white and pink, they cover the mountainside, creating a truly magnificent sight. Various events are also held during this period. ■Notes Due to the large holiday period during the event, road and parking lot congestion is expected.
