[Hydrangeas - Best Viewing] Kamibayashi Forest Park

Last year's situation

The hydrangeas of Kamibayashi Forest Park are for those who take it easy.

Kamibayashi Forest Park

Early Jul~Late Jul

A park developed around the trailhead to Mt. Saragamine. It is also known among local residents for the natural cooler, 'Kazaana' (wind cave), which blows a nearly constant breeze throughout the four seasons from a rock cave. The cool air from the wind cave helps keep the temperature low, causing the hydrangeas to bloom about a month later than in other spots.
