Nagaokakyo Bamboo Shoot Fair

The specialty of the Otokuni region, "Kyo bamboo shoots," is characterized by its soft texture and refined taste without bitterness, derived from bamboo shoot fields tended throughout the year. A list of direct sales locations for "asa-dori takenoko" (morning-harvested bamboo shoots) that are dug fresh in the morning, as well as stores where you can enjoy bamboo shoot dishes and bamboo shoot sweets, will be introduced. A campaign is being held where you can answer a web survey after dining or shopping at participating stores to win prizes such as bamboo shoot rice mix! Be sure to participate.
