A historic firework festival that started in 1951 as the "Suga Noryo Fireworks Festival" by the local people of the Suga district. The sight of about 3,000 diverse fireworks, including luxurious star mines, decorating the summer Shonan coastline has become a summer tradition for the citizens of Hiratsuka City.
