Kito Cedar Log Riding Competition

The Kito Cedar Log Riding Competition is held to pass down the traditional technique of floating Kito Town's brand cedar logs, 'Kito Cedar', on the clear stream of the Naka River and transporting them downstream. In preparation for this event, a 'Kito Cedar Log Riding Workshop' will also be held every weekend leading up to the competition, where participants can receive guidance from log riding experts. Experience the traditional craft in the great outdoors of Naka (Kito District) with stunning nature. *Application for competition participation is from July 1, 2025 (Tuesday) onward.
