Important Cultural Property "Fukunaga Family Residence" Spring General Opening
Nationally designated important cultural property (building) opened to the public
Since the Edo period, the "Fukunaga Family Residence," a nationally designated important cultural property, has been at the center of Naruto salt fields, and is now open to the public. On the day, there will be on-site guidance by the Naruto Tourism Volunteer Guide Association (last reception at 2:30 PM), exhibitions of salt-making tools, salt field picture scrolls, and figurines used in coastal work, as well as a panel exhibition explaining the salt fields and salt production in Qingdao, China (cooperation: Qingdao Municipal People's Government Foreign Affairs Office). There will also be a serving of the traditional sweets "Naruto Manju", created from the whirlpools and salt fields (first 200 servings).
