Hydrangeas of Unsoji

"Selected as the number one scenic spot in Japan for 2017 on the official website 'Must-See Scenic Spots Before You Die! World’s Greatest Views.' The deputy chief priest of Unsoji, Souun Konaka, has spent over 20 years nurturing a stunning display of hydrangeas that fill the temple grounds. With a focus on various shades of blue, they bloom like an impressive carpet.
