14th Sakura Walk

This year we will also hold the Sakura Walk. Let's walk a 3 km course along Hirogawa Dam while enjoying the full bloom of cherry blossoms from Takihara Onsen Hotaru no Yu! Participants will receive a lunch of 2 rice balls, pork miso soup, and tea, along with a towel and a bathing ticket for Hotaru no Yu, distributed by the Hirogawa Town Tourism Association. Refresh your mind and body surrounded by nature in the spring sunshine! Registration is open until March 19. Participation on the day is not allowed. Please check the official website for details.

Note

Reception by 9:20 AM. Cancelled in case of rain. Meeting place: Hotaru no Yu parking lot. Opening at 9:30 AM, walking starts at 9:45 AM, round trip around the dam until 11:30 AM, bathing at Hotaru no Yu, ends around 2:30 PM. *Pre-registration only, no day-of participation allowed.

Take the Kinki Expressway or Hanwa Expressway, exit at Hirogawa IC on the Kainan-Yuasa Road, head south from National Route 42, about 10 minutes on Prefectural Road Hirogawa Kawabe Line

Access (Public)

Take the JR Kisei Main Line to 'Yuasa Station', about 20 minutes by taxi
