28th Takamori Yuusui Tunnel Noryou Tanabata Festival

Inside the tunnel is the Milky Way
The Tanabata Festival is held at Takamori Yuusui Tunnel Park, a water source area in Takamori Town, located at the southern foot of the Aso Five Mountains. With a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius, approximately 550 meters of the tunnel is open to the public, featuring a row of giant Tanabata decorations about 5 meters tall. The surface of the water flowing between the paths reflects the Tanabata decorations, creating a fantastical atmosphere.
