Gemini Meteor Stream Observation

Make a wish on a shooting star! How many shooting stars can we see?
Rikubetsu Space Earth Science Museum (Galaxy Forest Observatory)
12/13(Sat) 17:30~21:30
12/14(Sun) 17:30~21:30
We will observe the Gemini meteor stream, which reaches its peak activity around this time. This year's peak is expected to be around December 14 at 5 PM (about 60 meteors per hour), and we can expect meteors on the nights before and after. This year, the observational conditions are good as there will be no moonlight interference during our opening hours. Let’s sit comfortably in chairs that make it easy to watch the sky in the rooftop plaza and look for lots of shooting stars! A briefing will also be held inside the exhibition room. Since it is a cold season, be sure to prepare for the cold with warm clothing, hand warmers, blankets, hot drinks, etc.!
