Wachi Furusato Matsuri
A hometown festival that has continued for over 100 years
A festival held at the end of August every year, marking the end of summer. It is held to commemorate the opening of Wachi Station in Meiji 43. There are performances by local groups, karaoke shows, comedy live, traditional arts such as Wachi Taiko and Bumshichi Dance. Numerous fun food stalls and shops gather, creating a lively atmosphere.
