Parent-Child Course 'Let's Create Our Favorite Plant Encyclopedia!'

Rub leaves with crayons to make life-size prints
Collect leaves from Aizutake Park and use a technique called 'taku hon' to create a plant encyclopedia. Perfect for independent research projects. The instructor is Hiroshi Tomita, a nature observation leader. Pre-registration required (fill out the course name (desired session), names, ages, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for all applicants (up to 2) in the web form and send it, or call), application by July 27 (Sunday) at 5 PM, selection by lottery. Capacity is 15 people per session, targeted at elementary and middle school students and their guardians. Those in 3rd grade and below must apply with an adult. ■Notes The course web form will be posted on the museum's website. Priority will be given to first-time applicants in case of a large number of applicants. Adults can’t participate alone.
