City, Face, Flower: From the Collection of Gallery Owl, Depicting Hiroshima

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing, we introduce the "Owl Collection," one of the main collections of this museum. The Owl Collection is comprised of works and related materials from artists who have exhibited at Gallery Owl, owned by Miyoko Shijo, which operated in Hiroshima from 1966 to 1986. This exhibition aims to document and share a part of post-war art in Hiroshima through the works of galleries and artists who were active during the reconstruction period after the war. ■Notes Concurrent event: Summer Project "KIT Miyauchi 01" from August 1 (Friday) to September 15 (Monday, holiday)
