39th Gozenyu Ushi-yu Festival

The hot spring discovery festival has a history of over 1,300 years. It is held every year on the day of the ox in July, commemorating the discovery of Futsukaichi Onsen in the fourth year of the Hakuchi era (653 AD). It is said that soaking in the hot springs on this day has the effect of a thousand days. During the event period, there is a special sale where you can receive one 'usage ticket' for every set of multiple tickets purchased.
