The park has about 300 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and yamazakura, and particularly the cherry blossoms around the pond are spectacular. In spring, it is a place for cherry blossom viewing, and in autumn, it becomes a place for enjoying the autumn leaves for the citizens.
